I am the married mother of seven, two gifted to me through birth and five gifted to me through adoption.  I am incredibly imperfect but am striving every day to be worthy of the blessings that God has entrusted to me.

I love chocolate, reading, learning, good food, dancing barefoot in my kitchen, and scrapbooking.  Other words that describe me are homeschooler, disorganized homemaker, blogger, friend, auntie, and aspiring writer.

As cliche as it sounds, I want to make a difference in the world.

  1. Got your comment, Sharla! Thanks for the encouragement! Always needed. Very timely! I would love to read some of your “semi-private” blog that chronicles some of your childrens’ transition into your family. It’s nice to be prepared, and it’s especially nice to read someone’s story that has come so far in their transition journey. That’s especially encouraging!

  2. so love that you have adopted children. we seriously would love to as well – but here in Australia it is a very difficult process. Great to meet another mum of seven! Naomi x
